Hi, I’m Auriel P. Scott, an independent journalist with a concentration in film, entertainment and politics. I’m currently a New Media Journalism graduate student at Full Sail University but I stem from an extensive background in marketing and media communications. This background is what led me to journalism as I realized the importance of understanding the media around us as foreground for deeper conversations and human connection.
In my spare time, she’s an advent reader, recipe enthusiast, and tra-vactioner (a nice mix between traveler and vacationer) – as you can see, I’m all about balance baby! I’d love to say I read all books but I’m a romance girl through and through, with an occasional hint of mystery, self-help and autobiographies.
I use to say my biggest goal in life was to see the world before 30, ha – talk about overachiever but as I turn the cusp of 29, I think it’s to take in as much of the world as I can, for as long as I possibly can. I’ve come to realize time is such a social construct that is often explored in media around us and it’s through that realization this new adventure in life begins.
